![]() They have sitting areas, and they have libraries - one in memory care and one in the main assisted living. They also have a really nice central area where they'll have carnivals and dances. They have activities, they have three meals a day, they do laundry, they supply sheets and towels, and they have an in-house medical doctor who comes in once a week and is on call as needed, which is really nice. The rooms are very large, they're private rooms, and are not shared rooms. The one that we're going to be moving my dad into is a studio with a bathroom, and it has new carpet. It's an older building, but they have kept it up really nicely. We just felt like my dad is going to get good care and is going to be comfortable there. The price was good, and the rooms were huge compared to the other places we visited. Because of COVID, they weren't letting people see it, but they made a special provision for us to be able to go see it. They were very prompt in returning calls and setting things up. It's close it's in our hometown where my parents still live. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The staff members we met were really nice and friendly. It's right across the street from a park, and it's in a nice neighborhood. Every time we drive by, they're always needing help for positions. They're always advertising for help, so I don't know if they're short staffed or what the deal is. ![]() It was bigger than the others, and it seemed like they always needed help there. We went there a couple of times and made an attempt to try to befriend these elderly folks. It was kind of awkward, so we didn't pursue it. We really didn't hit it off with these other people. We knew this other gal, and she became a dear friend but when it's a perfect stranger you're going to see, you don't always know if you're going to hit it off. They said they needed people to visit other people that didn't get visits from anybody. It was maybe a little bit better place than the others, but it's been a while too since we've been there. They did a good job caring for the people there. Entertainers would come in, and we listened to them singing. Garry We visited several people at Park Place at one time.
